Ms. April Trice serves as the Graduate Assistant for 2008-2009. April provides support to the project by conducting research, developing curriculum and materials, providing training, and assisting the TACE specialists with projects. April has most recently been employed as a Rehabilitation Counselor with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth – Rehabilitation Services in Detroit. She was a lead counselor for specialized Substance Abuse, Sickle Cell Anemia, and Mental Health caseloads. Her educational background includes M.A. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wayne State University in Michigan and a B.S. degree in Special Education – Disabilities Studies from Jackson State University in Mississippi. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Human Rehabilitation program at UNC.
